meet the designer

I am Marie Josue, owner and Principal Designer of TiCa by Design. This venture is a leap of faith, a work of passion, the next step in my pursuit of a purposeful life.

Integrity, perseverance and commitment are values by which I live. Those principles served me well in leading a life based on hard work. With a bachelor’s in finance, and master’s degree in Non-Profit Management, I pursued a successful career in Healthcare Compliance for both Government and Non-Profit entities. However, as my salary grew, my spirit and soul were depleting. I lived in that state until this reality became unbearable.

In 2018, I put it all on the balance and for the first time in my life forgo the practical in favor of my passion. I resigned from my corporate job and enrolled in an Interior Design Program to learn not only about the aesthetic, but also the health and wellness aspects of the built environment. Working at one of the best architecture firms in Dallas, TX afforded me the opportunity to refine the Interior Design skills I gained.

My purpose and dream are to put my passion, skills and experience into creating environments that will make space for one to create his or her highest and best self. I’m glad life allowed our paths to cross. Please feel free to reach out!
